Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch Compatible with CMI 5th Wheel Rails

Question:

I just purchased 2008 F350 Ford and the cmi rails were left in the bed , what part # hitch do I need ?

Your fifth wheel rails with the CMI stamped on them were manufactured by Curt, and will be compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Husky, Reese, Valley, and other brand hitches. They fit what are called industry standard hitches.

For your 2008 Ford F-350, I recommend the Reese 22K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Wiring Harness # RP30033. This dual jaw hitch will give you the best king pin contact to reduce any jarring and chucking of your 5th wheel trailer.

If you choose a different hitch, then I also recommend the Bargman # 50-97-410 wiring harness to add a 2nd 7-way trailer connection to the bed of your truck for easy access and a cleaner connection.
