Troubleshooting Lippert Ground Control Not Working With Red Light Only On Exterior Touch Panel

Question:
I have a 2020 Coachman Chaparral 5th wheel. The touch screen on my ground control leveling system will not turn on and my touch pad in the storage bay is showing a red light which means that there was an error when trying to level. I can’t clear the error unless the touch screen turns on - help Thank you

If the Quick Level Touch Panel # LC74FR has a solid red light it is indicating low battery power to the system. This would explain the interior Touch Screen Panel # LC83VR not powering on as well. Be sure to test your battery and check the power terminals for a secure connection.
Most faults can be cleared by holding retract all on the touch panel. Otherwise you will need to check the fuses and connectors for the interior touch screen to determine the fault and correct the issue.
