Question:
do scissor steps have to go all the way to the ground or can they be hanging as I see some on motor homes

The Aluminum Scissor Steps, 24 inch Wide, 31 inch - 39 inch Tall, are not designed to hang. These steps are designed to fit just below the door of the RV and contact the ground for support. There is a bracket attached to the RV so the stairs can be easily installed and removed.
