7 way wiring trailer for a 2018 Toyota Highlander Hybrid What product do you have for a Highlander that has 4 prong wiring.

Expert Reply:
Since you already have a 4-Way on your 2018 Toyota Highlander you need the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to add a fully-functioning 7-Way to your vehicle. This plugs into your existing 4-Way and then comes with all of the wiring and connectors you need for adding a brake controller and the 12V power circuits.
We had the opportunity to install this wiring kit on a 2019 Highlander so I'm linking that video to this page for you to check out.
If you don't already have a brake controller I recommend checking out the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR because it uses a simple LED light for setting adjustments and it installs out of the way so only the small control knob is visible. Redarc actually has the Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 you can use to mount the control knob in an unused port on your dash for a total OEM look.
Attached are some videos for the Redarc parts as well.
