Question:

Ithe zerk fitting for greasing the axel bearings came out when I removed the grease gun. I need a part number for the zerk fitting replacement. Also, can I replace all with a bearing buddy? Is so, what is the correct part number?

The grease zerk fittings on your Dexter EZ-Lube axle are threaded. Since one of the fittings broke off you can use a screw/bolt extractor to remove the remaining threads. When the replacement threads are out you can install The Replacement Grease Zerk # Gzerk to replace it.

If you're having trouble getting the old threads out or removed you can install The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS.

You will have to measure the diameter of your grease cap. The # BB1980A-SS will fit a 1.980 inch bore.
