Question:

Hello I have attached pic of my bike rack used with my 2015 mazda cx9...I still have the hitch from old car but now have a 2021 mazda cx9 will that fit? If not, what should I use? Is there a difference getting directly from dealer or after market? Thank you

You are going to need to get a new trailer hitch receiver for your 2021 Mazda CX-9. The frame and body style changed in 2016 so you will not be able to reuse your current receiver. We have the Draw-Tite in a 2" # 76020 receiver tube. Based on your images it looks like you have a Yakima bike rack but I cannot tell if it fits a 2" or 1-1/4" receiver tube. You will need to measure the width/height of the tube that slides into the receiver to ensure you get the correct size receiver.

We do offer adapters if you want to use a different size receiver. Do ensure you do not exceed any manufacturer ratings for your Mazda. We also have a Adapter # 80300 that fits a 2" receiver and allows you to use 1-1/4" accessories. Do note the adapter will lower your hitch capacity by 50".

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118278 will allow you to add a 4-way connector. This can be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 in the event your bike rack or other accessories impair the view of your tail lights. It will also be needed in the event you tow a small trailer as it will control the trailer lights.
