Question:
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 2.7l Can’t figure out which transmission cooler line is the return

I find the best way to verify what transmission cooler line is the return is by using a TireMinder Infrared Thermometer # TM48FR. This will ensure you find the correct line since both the inlet and outlet connections on your radiator are identical. You can use the thermometer to check the temperature of the lines after driving your 2005 Chrysler 300. The cooler temperature line will be your return line, which should be the bottom line. Then you will be able to install the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D15902.
