Question:
Whats the difference between the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty and Elite? Other than one being red and the other being black, and the price, I cant discern the difference. Thank you.

The Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR has both the proportional mode and time-delayed mode whereas the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR just has the much preferred proportional mode. This allows it to cost a little less. Basically it's the best portion of the Elite without the less frequently used time-delayed feature.
Proportional means that it can sense you are pressing the truck brakes and then apply a similar amount of braking power on the trailer brakes whereas time-delayed means it ramps up a preset amount of braking pressure over a preset amount of time regardless of how hard the brakes are applied.
