Will The B&W Companion 3770 Model Fit The Puck System Of A 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

Pulled this hitch from my 2016 Silverado 3500 when I sold it. Purchased a 2021 Silverado 3500 and found that the hitch doesnt match up with the pucks in the truck bed. I guess Chevy changed the puck layout sometime between 2016 and 2021? Is there an adapter of some sort, or am I screwed and need to purchase a brand new hitch?

GM did change the spacing on their puck systems in 2020 and there isn't currently an adapter to make your older style hitch fit your new puck system so you will need to replace the base with the Replacement Slider Base for B&W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - 20,000lbs # BWRVB3775.
