Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-150 with Factory Trailer Hitch
Published 07/21/2022 >
Question:
Will this replace a factory installed class III Ford hitch? Mine appears to have bumper mounting brackets attached to factory hitch. I see no mention of bumper brackets in your video.

According to my research you want to avoid removing the factory trailer hitch on your 2018 Ford F-150 because it's a little more integrated than an aftermarket hitch. So for your application I recommend going with the Curt Class IV # C26HR instead because it mounts directly under your factory receiver instead of having to remove the factory setup.
