Question:

I want to install this on a 2022 Audi Q5 for a MTB rack. My question is does the removable hitch lock in solid? I don’t want any movement from the hitch. Also is there install instruction provided? Thank you

Yes, the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT29GR removable receiver tube will lock in with very minimal play to the main receiver. I have attached an installation video below for a similar hitch we installed in our shop so you can see the removable receiver tube installation and how much play it has. You will get a set of installation instructions with the receiver that includes color photos.

I recommend installing the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit # C59496 so that you will have a 4-way flat connector. This connector will fit most small trailers and can also be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 on hitch mounted accessories that block the view of your tail lights.
