Replacement Wheel For 2017 Heartland Gateway 3800RLB 5TH Wheel Camper

Question:

I have a 2017 Heartland Gateway 3800 RLB dual axle. I cracked a wheel and it is leaking air. The wheel is a 16 by 6 8 lug on 6 1/2 center. I am trying to decide between the Taskmaster with a 5.12 pilot hole and the vesper which has a 4.88 pilot. How do I know which pilot hole is correct? I like that the Vesper has a higher capacity….. we run max weight .

The only way to know for sure is to either measure the hub on your 2017 Heartland Gateway 3800RLB 5th Wheel camper or to get me the axle serial numbers off your axles. Then I will be able to determine what hubs were installed on your axles. It is likely that either the Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel # TA83VR or Vesper Steel Modular Trailer Wheel # MX59FR will fit as they are both a lug centric design and do not have to align perfectly with the hub on your Heartland. It really comes down to ensuring your hub is smaller than the 4.88" diameter of the Vesper wheel you are wanting to run.
