For your 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521446-5.
I do want to note that if your model is not 4WD you will need to dolly tow your vehicle instead and will need a dolly like the # DM9713093.
To flat tow your vehicle you'll also need a tow bar, tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables. If you don't have these components already then I have the following recommendations:
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This will fit the Roadmaster Baseplate I recommended above and comes with safety cables and an adjustable shank to help keep the tow bar level between your motorhome and Cherokee.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.
Note: Jeep issued a tech bulletin to install wiring kit 68321424AB when flat towing your vehicle, which is available at your local Chrysler and Jeep dealership.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This system comes with a remote that will alert you when the brakes in your vehicle are activated as well as let you change from proportional to full braking. It also includes a charge line kit to keep your Cherokee's battery charged while you tow.
You'll also most likely need a Brake Light Relay Kit # RM-88400. This makes sure that your motorhome's brake lights don't override the turn signal in your Cherokee. The brake light switch wire for your vehicle is dark green/light green.
