I have a featherlight horse trailer that needs a lock to the entry for the saddle room. It will not lock anymore if it’s not on a flat surface. Wondering what exact when I would need

Without a picture, I can only speculate on what type of lock you have on your Featherlite horse trailer. My lock recommendation would be the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black, part # 295-000019. This lock fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick and installs into latch cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall.
