Correct Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizer Replacement for Tandem Axle Trailer with 7,000 lbs Axles

Question:

I have a tandem axle trailer with Dexter 7K axles, and Lippert double eye Equiflex equalizers. The part number on the unit show as 331773, which on the LCI site shows as part of a TRIPLE AXLE equalizer package, also lists part 145547. I can only assume when they built this trailer they used part of a tri-axle set up, and only used the double eye portion and discarded the tie in for the third axle. My question is: is the # LC279688 which aslo shows part number 145546 a direct replacement for this part?

The correct Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers for a tandem axle trailer with 7,000 lbs axles is part # LC279688. If you want to be extra sure these will fit your exact trailer, just measure the distance between the outside holes center to center straight across, it should be 7-1/2" or close and if so these will work great.
