Question:
Greetings! I own a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Im trying to get the suv ready to buy my first trailer. I was advice to buy a distribution weight hitch, and a 7 point brake system. What products you recommend me to get that meets this recommendations or any other that you as an expert might have. Now, I have a stupid question but I need to have it clarify in order for me to move on.... the hitch receiver and the weight distribution hitch are two separate things that connects together to keep the car level? but two different parts. Or, is the weight distribution hitch substitute the hitch receiver too?

First you will need an etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e95ZR for your 2020 Hyundai Palisade. This will accept your ball mount or weight distribution hitch for towing the trailer.
Then you will need a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR. This will give you a 4-way flat connector that operates the lights on your trailer. It will connect to the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 allowing you to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This small profile controller will allow you to control the trailer brakes on trailers with up to 2 braking axles, without taking up a lot of space on your dash.
I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET for your trailer. It will help to maintain the ride height of your Palisade so the rear suspension does not sag with large amounts of tongue weight and it will help to control trailer sway. This hitch is rated for trailers up to 6,000lbs with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs. If you are looking at a trailer which is outside those parameters please let me know its weights and I will help you find the correct hitch. This hitch does come with a 2" ball and we also have a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 if your trailer has the larger coupler. You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install either hitch ball.
