When it comes to purchasing the correct Bolt trailer lock you need The BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Codes to GM Center Cut Key # BL7023582. Per the manufacturer your key fob will have an emergency key in the fob that will help lock it.
This 5/8 inch diameter receiver lock will code to your vehicle's ignition key (emergency key in key fob). The lock is made out of automotive-grade materials and is nearly impossible to pick or bump. It is corrosion-resistant and will keep your ball mount safe and secure.
This lock will work with a class 3, 4, and 5 trailer hitch. It has a maximum gross towing weight of 16,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 1,600 pounds. Using the Bolt lock will permanently code to only 1 vehicle. They cannot be re-coded or re-keyed.
