Can the Trailer Valet RVR5 # TVRVR5 Move Over a 2 Lip between My Garage and Driveway?

Question:

I have about a two inch lip from my driveway up to my garage floor . Will the 5500 valet be able to make the transition? My trailer weighs 3000 pounds. Both the driveway and garage floor are concrete and fairly level

Great question!

I went ahead and reached out to my tech at Trailer Valet, and he confirmed that you can use the RVR5 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly # TVRVR5 with a 2" lip between your garage and your driveway. He also said that the best way to go over the transition is to lay a sheet of plywood for the RVR5. Also, it may help to add more tongue weight to the trailer to help get more traction.
