How To Determine Which Wheel Stud Will Fit My Dexter RV Axles?

Question:

I have a trailer with the old style Dexter RV axles that use stud bolts, some of the holes on the hubs are completely stripped out, someone tried using a standard bolt in wrong thread size before Will this work ? I would almost think I would need an oversized course end

In order to determine if the Trailer Hub Wheel Stud, Screw-In # 25-51 will fit, I will also need to know the thread diameter, the length of the stud, the length of the splined portion of the stud, the base length and the diameter of the splined portion.

Since you mentioned that someone else had used the wrong size bolts, and you have no threads in certain situations you are going to need to re-tap the treads for the affected areas.

Let me know what you have and we can try and see if we can figure something out.
