I have a 2016 Silverado 2500 with a 6.5’ truck bed and an 8.5’ truck camper. Need to tow a 3000lb boat with a single axle. About a 3-4” is needed to tow the boat trailer as the truck sits now. Can I use an appropriately rated hitch along with this hitch extender? Thanks!
