Is There a Known Issue With the Curt E16 5th Wheel Legs Not Working w/ Industry Standard Rails

Question:
I have the curt e16 hitch and it does not fit in my rails. I have to pry or pound it in. It is to far apart to set in properly front to rear. I do have curt rails. I’ve loosed and tightened rails with no fix. I have also test fitted the curt gooseneck plate and it fits perfectly and a pull ride slider hitch fits perfectly as well. Is this a known issue with these legs? I can’t get anybody at curt to get back to me. I just don’t want to waste the money on new legs if I will have the same issue I’m already having.
