Question:
Could you tell me the outside dimensions of the main body tube. Could you tell me the measurements from the bracket tube mount to the front, back, and bottom of the frame bracket. It appears that the bracket tube mount is not centered on the bottom part of the frame bracket.

The main tube on Curt trailer hitch # 13703 measure 2-5/8 inches square on the outside. The wall thickness is 1/4 inch. The overall length is 68-1/2 inches.
On the brackets, measuring from the center of the main tube to the nearest end of the bracket it is 4-1/8 inches. To the far side it is 7-7/8 inches. From the center of the main tube to the top is 9-5/8 inches and to the bottom it is 3-3/4 inches.
I have included a picture that shows additional bracket dimensions, a video showing a typical installation, and the instructions for you. The video and instructions are linked to the right.
