Fitment of Rubber Trim for Vehicle Trim Molding

Question:
Is the measurement for the opening on the screw track or does it include the slot where the rubber would slide into? Opening on my screw track is 41/64in just a hair over 5/8in

The Rubber Trim for Vehicle Trim Molding, # SR78FR is 7/8" as shown in the attached and identified as fitting 3/4" tracks as measured on the inside, such as your measurement is taken.
