Could I use this as a replacement for the Elixir elx-45 RV Converter?

Yes, the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger, # PD4135K will work wonderfully as a replacement for your Elixir model EXL-45. It is a 35 amp rated unit that is a 2-in-1 AC/DC distribution panel and converter charger. This works with lithium-ion, LiFePO4, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries.

However, I recommend the 45 Amp rated Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart, # PD4045KA instead. This too will work with lithium-ion, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries but provide a higher charge rate to your battery bank, and if replacing a Elixir model EXL-45, your wiring is rated for this unit.
