Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For A 2022 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite Super Lite

Question:
I am new to the RV life and EVERYTHING that comes with it. With that said, we bought a 2022 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite Super Lite 197BH bunkhouse floor plan. Length 22 ft 11 in Dry Weight 3663 lbs Hitch Weight 638 GVWR 5058 Front Axle Weight 4400 I will be utilizing a 2018 Toyota Highlander SE to pull the RV. I have a CURT trailer high that is rated to 6000 pounds. My big question, I want to make sure I am using the correct weight distribution/sway control. I was reading that if you get to much of a rating above what the RV weight is, can be very dangerous. Any help with that and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When it comes to installing a weight distribution hitch on your 2022 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite Super Lite The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 pounds GTW, 1,000 pounds TW # C17500 will work for you. The closer you're to the weight of the trailer the safer and more comfortable ride you will have.
The Curt Hitch has a tongue weight between 800 pounds to 1,000 pounds and has a maximum gross towing weight up to 10,000 pounds. This system allows you to backup, and has integrated active sway control that limits side-to-side movement of trailer. The system has no-drill, clamp-on brackets that mount directly to your trailer frame.
