Question:
Can I replace my 2” hitch ball with a 2 5/16” ball without replacing the hitch ? Does the larger ball have the same shaft diameter? Thank you.

As long as you use the same diameter shank you can definitely replace your 2" ball. I recommend the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 7,500 lbs # C40005. Since this has the same 1" diameter shank you will not have an issue using it with your existing ball mount. This ball has a 7,500 lb capacity and comes with a 1 year warranty.
