Question:
Just bought this fan and can not get it to work. How can I test the switch?

Expert Reply:
To test the switch of the 12V RV Ceiling Fan w/ Wall Switch # 324-000053 you'll want to use a digital multimeter like # PT89ZR to test the power wire running to the switch. You should be getting 12v DC at the switch for it to properly function.
If the switch has 12v power and you have the switch on then you'll want to check the power at the fan to know if the switch is the issue or the fan itself is the issue.
If the switch doesn't have power then you'll need to trace the power wire back to its source to find the cause of the disconnect.
