Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this nine piece 3/8" drive steel, SAE Bolt Extractors in this nice molded case. Now, these extractors, I'm going to zoom in here so you can see, they'll have these gripping edges on the inside that when you install this over the nut, it'll help remove any old or stripped rusted around it, nuts or bolts. Now, these do use an impact grade chrom-moly steel construction, makes them very strong and durable. You can use them with an impact gun.And it does come in the nine different sizes here. It starts with the smallest, which is a 1/4", 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2", 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and then the largest one is the 3/4" size.
Have you noticed it comes in a nice molded storage case that has the sizes written down on there. And again, what you'll do is just use a 3/8" drive socket or ratchet, put your extractor on there and then just go to put it onto the nut or the bolt you're removing, and then just loosen it. And as you do that, those grippers in there will grip the rounded nut or bolt and remove it. Very easy to do.Now, one thing I do want to mention is that due to some of the size of the nuts or the bolts that you're going to be extracting that are rounded or damaged, these extractors, the size on them may not have fit them exactly. So, what you want to do is fit that over the bolt or nut you're extracting and just use the closest size that will work the best for you.But that should do it for the review on the nine piece 3/8" drive steel SAE Bolt Extractors in this storage case..
