When using a 12inch extension do I still loose 50 Percent of tongue weight if I use a weight distribution system? Thank YOU

When using the Curt 8 inch hitch extender,# C45791, it will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 50 percent. Using a weight distribution system will cut that weight in half as well.
