In order to determine if your Everchill RV Refrigerator needs to be or not, you'll want to first verify that your are getting at least 115 volts of power to your unit.
If you are not receiving the appropriate voltage, components of the refrigerator to not function properly which may be causing your compressor to become hot, and for the fridge to not cool down.
You can use a multi-meter like the Digital Multimeter with 42" Long Test Leads # PT89ZR to verify the voltage.
If you are receiving the appropriate voltage to your unit, then there is likely a problem with your Thermostat or control and at that point you'd need to reach out to the manufacturer for a replacement.
