Question:

1. Do you have to cut the bumper to install this hitch. 2. Is the mount snug to the bumper so as not to lower the trailer. 3. Is there an easy connect wire harness instead of the splice in type. I will upload a pick of the wire harness I am talking about. I know its not this model but maybe something similar. I will also upload a pic of the rear of my SUV.

While Draw-Tite has confirmed that the Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT22MR will fit your 2023 Kia Sportage we have not had one in to install in our facility for images. I reached out to Draw-Tite and they confirmed that there is no additional trimming required, but they could not give me any information on the height of the receiver from the bumper fascia.

As for a wiring harness, there is one that doesn't require splicing, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # C99DR.
