What are the Longest Ball Mounts Available with a 10k Capacity

Question:

I have a motorhome 2inch receiver that will be used to tow a 10,000 lb. capacity enclosed car hauler with a v-nose that currently sits ~15inch from the tail of the coach. On a tight turn I contacted the roof ladder with the v-nose and put the first dent in my brand new trailer. I am also concerned about going through dips/rises getting in and out of businesses etc. What is the longest available ball mount with a 10,000 lb. capacity? I believe I need at least 4-6inch more clearance.

I think the best option you have would be the Heavy Duty Extra Long Ballmount # BH20. This ball mount has a 10k capacity and has a distance of 12-7/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.

If you need more clearance that that the only option you really have would be the Roll-A-Hitch Cushioned, Telescoping/Swiveling Ball Mount # CAB-LD4. This is an interesting ball mount that telescopes and swivels to allow for easy hitching up.

This ball mount has a distance of 15 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.

I would not recommend using a hitch extender as they cut the capacity of the hitch in half.
