Hi, Im considering purchasing this front hitch for my 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 but would first like to read/review the step-by-step mounting/installation instructions. Could you please email them to me or provide a link to download them? My vehicle has factory installed tow hooks that pass through the front bumper. Will I need to remove them or the bumper to install the hitch? Thanks!

I definitely have the installation instructions for the Curt Front Mount Hitch # C31063 for your 2006 Ford Ranger. I went ahead and attached the pages to this answer. I also confirmed with Curt that this hitch fits a 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4.
Toward the middle of the second page of the instructions, it mentions using the factory tow hooks in the vehicle recovery and winching tips. For that reason, you do not need to remove your factory tow hooks.
