Availability of Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 2" x 4" Trailer Tongue

Question:
I have a pontoon trailer that I would like to purchase a fold away coupler for, I want to make sure I am getting the right one as I believe it measures 2 by 4, I can send pictures as well.

Hi Dustin; as long as you measured pictures aren't necessary. However, I can tell you we don't have a hinge kit for a 2" x 4" trailer tongue. I also ran an internet search and could not find one for those dimensions. Unless you are able to track one down, the only option would be to replace the trailer tongue so you could use a different hinge kit like the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 3" x 4" Tongue # FHDPB340301.

Hey Dustin, were you able to find a hinge kit that fits your 2 x 4 trailer tongue or decide to replace the tongue to use the Fulton fold-away coupler? Knowing what worked could help others trying to update their pontoon trailers.
