I came upon an answer to a question, Do you have any gooseneck hitch options for a 2022 ram 1500 long bed?inch and Brice D. answered Yes, as a matter of fact, we do have the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit # C60730 which is confirmed to fit the 6-1/2foot bed, as well as the 8foot bed options without air suspension.inch but does he mean either bed size without air suspension? or just the 8ft without air suspension? If your truck is a 1500 Classic, the # C60730 gooseneck hitch will work great for you, regardless of the bed length, as long as the truck isn't equipped with the air suspension.

None of our hitch manufacturers currently offer a gooseneck hitch fit for the new body style 1500, but if you have that truck I do have an option that would allow you to pull a gooseneck trailer.

You'd begin by installing a 5th wheel bracket/rail kit, part # DM8552032-71. Once that's installed, you can use a rail-mounted gooseneck hitch like part # 16055 which will allow you to pull a gooseneck trailer.

If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, you could do so using part # 41157 which is compatible with either the Ram 1500 or the Ram 1500 Classic.
