Install of Front Connections of Demco Air Force One so They Are Protected
Published 04/21/2022 >
Question:
I just installed base plates and a cluster of breakaway switch, electrical socket, and Air Force One air hose hookup. The entire assembly is vulnerable and subject to damage should anyone back into my front bumper. I wonder if anyone has solved this problem, or if there is a part that could be installed when not towing that would protect this equipment?

There isn't any type of protective cover for the connections for the front of the Demco Air Force One part # DM26VR. Hopefully you don't end up getting hit or backed into but depending on the vehicle you could mount the connections somewhat recessed like in the picture I attached so that they wouldn't be quite as vulnerable.
