Why Wont My Electric Brakes Lock Up

Question:
New brake assemblies,new wiring, grounds clean,grounded to trailer and truck,even ran ground direct to battery…when breakaway is actuated or even direct stand alone battery is supplied the brakes are weak ?? I’m completely at a loss I’ve tried everything?

When it comes to why your brakes are locking up after you added new wiring and grounds it sounds like there is still a loose wire or its not plugged in 100%. It could also be that you may wired your 7 round wiring incorrectly. I would recommend testing your vehicle and trailer plugs with Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993. You can also try to adjust and bed your brakes.
This tester will check circuits from a distance, check polarity, and find electrical shorts. If you're still having issues reach back out and we can look into it further.
