Question:

Just bought a 2017 Kia Soul Base model with 6 speed manual transmission. Looking to pull it behind a 2004 Tiffin Allegro Bus on a Freightliner chassis. Please advise on full package and options I need to get rolling.

For a complete flat towing setup on your 2017 Kia Soul you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. Here are the parts I recommend:

I like the direct-connect base plate and the Nighthawk All Terrain setup because it's clean and easy to use. The diode wiring kit works with the wiring umbilical that comes with the tow bar and then the relay kit ensures your brake lights work properly. The braking kits install permanently and take a bit for the initial installation but after that it's really easy to switch them over to get ready to flat tow.
