Which Grease is Used on Lippert Trailer Axles

I have lippert 4400 lb axles on my fifth wheel and was wondering what grease lippert uses for there wheel bearings?

According to Lippert they use Lithium Complex grease on their 2k-7k axles. This means you can use a Lithium Complex grease like the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease - 14 oz. Cartridge # L11390 for your bearings.

You can use the Timken Grease and Oil Seal #TMK98ZR in place of the Grease Seal #GS-2250DL. While they are not exactly the same seal construction it is still a double lip design and the dimensions are the same so they are going to fit correctly.

Hey Tommy, yes we do have a bearing kit from Timken that is for 5,200 lb trailer axles with the part #TMK72VR. This comes with the correct bearings and seal.

For a Lippert 4,400 lb trailer axle the correct bearing kit is the part #BK2-100 which includes inner bearing #L68149, inner race #L68111, outer bearing #L44649, outer race #L44610, grease seal #58846, a cotter pin and a tang washer.
