The Surco Spare-Tire-Mounted Cargo Basket, part # SPSJ4319, uses a universal-fit plate that will mount to any vehicle spare tire carrier that uses one of the standard bolt patterns, either 5, 6 or 8-lug.
The mounting plate portion of the carrier is removable for convenience but this carrier is not to be used in a hitch receiver. It is intended only for use with the mounting plate on a spare tire mount. This carrier has a maximum load capacity of 100-lbs, but you also need to check the weight capacity of the spare tire mount on the vehicle where it will be used. Based on my research your 2008 Hyundai Entourage did not come with a rear-mounted spare tire option.
Cargo carriers designed for use in a hitch receiver typically have a much higher weight capacity than this unit, 300- to 500-lbs, and are built to withstand the stress forces that are likely to be encountered when mounted in a rear hitch. All of the hitches we offer for your 2008 Entourage are the 2-inch Class III type and have a tongue weight capacity of 350-lbs. I have provided links to both our hitch page for your vehicle and to our page for 2-inch cargo carriers suitable for use in this size hitch.
I have also included a link to an article on hitch-mount cargo carriers that might be helpful to you.
