I own a tandem axle 7000 lb GVWR boat trailer that carries a 3500 LB boat. I have removed the surge brakes and want to install electric. The existing discs are 10 inch the brake bracket holes are 2.75 on center. Looks like the outer bearing says L44649, inner looks like L68149. I have a 2017 GMC 1500 with a factory brake controller. can you please recommend a complete package. including wiring harness and break away.

Thanks so much for that info, and we can get your boat trailer set up with electric brakes. Since you had an idler hub you will need a hub and drum for electric brakes, and with the bearing numbers you gave, that means you have 3,500 lb axles. That said, here is everything you'll need to make the conversion:
- Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKHD-545-35-G-K
- Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA
- Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B
- Trailer Breakaway Kit with 1-Amp Charger and 5 Ah Battery # 3802346
- Junction Box - 7 Terminal # 3375601100
- 7-Way RV Style Connector - Trailer End 6 ' Long # HM20086 or 8' Long # H20046
- Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge Brake Wire (Per Foot) # 10-2-1
This will be everything you need since you already have a brake controller. The hubs are galvanized for use with a boat trailer and come with the bearings, races, and seal. The 7-way upgrade kit has the 7-way connector that will plug into your truck, and the junction box will make it much easier to attach your trailer's wiring.
