Our 2013 Keystone Passport 2650BH Grand Touring Ultralight has a pull-out step mounting area that is a TRUE 27.5inch wide. I am reading some reviews that insist that the LC432696 step assembly is close to 28inch wide, and will not fit into a 27.5inch mount without some tweaking and bending. What is the exact, precise width of the LC432696 frame? Thanks!

The overall width of the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432696 that you reference is 28 inches. Form something with a smaller width we have the part # SMFP-3200L which has mounting bracket width of 27-1/8 inches.
