Do the Yakima Side Loader Mounting Brackets Have a Weight Capacity Rating

Question:
Per a pair of brackets. How much weight can it support? I dont know if the wide brackets are made for mor weight as it has 4 bolts? Or wide meaning something else? Thanks

The capacity of the Side Loader Mounting Brackets # Y08002 is going to be limited to the bar capacity or roof capacity, whichever is lower. In general, the raingutter feet, # Y00101, and crossbars will have a 165 pound capacity. You will need to consult the vehicle owners manual or manufacturer of the vehicle or item you are installing this on to determine the capacity of it. Always go by the lowest capacity.
