Question:
I have a 2017 F150 ecoboost that I tow my Haulmark 20foot enclosed trailer with. Loaded with everything in it, the trailer is around 7k give or take 500 pounds. I use a weight distribution hitch from Curt Manuf. The truck pulls it with ease but I get a bit of bouncing in the rear of the truck at highway speeds. I have run airbags in the past and it definitely helped but I am curious if I should use airbags or something like the Roadmaster leaf spring helper this time? Thank you for your time.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88385 are going to work better to stop the bouncing that you are experiencing in your 2017 Ford F-150 than the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y. The Air Lift kit has an internal jounce spring that is designed to help reduce the bouncing that you are feeling by absorbing it. The RoadActive is strictly to provide stability and reduce sag on the rear suspension.
I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-116-40 (2 wheel drive) or # SSR-117-40 (4 wheel drive) as the best option, since you are already using a Curt weight distribution hitch with your Haulmark enclosed trailer to prevent sag. These progressive springs will replace your factory bump stops and provide the cushioning you are looking for. And since they don't require any maintenance, adjustment or air lines they are the easiest to use.
