Question:
Trailer connection warning keeps coming on and there’s nothing wrong with connection. How do we get the warning to keep from coming on?

If you are experiencing a "trailer disconnect" error message, the most common reason for this is a rusty/corroded trailer connection between the tow vehicle and the trailer. In order to rule out this possibility, I recommend checking the outside and the inside of the connector plugs for any whitish/greenish material. For further protection, you can use the Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz. # 11755 to prevent future build-up.
Another possibility is that there is a short on the brake assemblies and magnets. In order to conduct the voltage measurements for the brake magnets, I recommend using a tester like the # PTW2992.
