Question:

I have a Forrest River Sandpiper Model 321RL 2021 MODEL. I purchaed the trailer from a dealer used, the camera system was installed on it , side marker lights, the camera in back and camera over door. I am assuming the previous owner took the monitor system part with him. I see that you can purchase a new monitor? If i do can it be paired with the cameras i already have? And could it be used as a security monitor system while parked at a fulltime site without being hooked up to a vehicle?

It sounds like your 2021 Forest River Sandpiper 321RL has the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05, which if that's the case, then yes you can use the Replacement 7" Monitor for Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Camera System # FR97FR to pair to your existing cameras.

To pair your cameras, you will need to press and hold the pairing button on the cameras for 10-15 seconds to begin pairing process.

From here, you will:

1. Use UP or DOWN button to highlight PAIRING menu, then press the power button to enter the next page.

2. Press the “MONITOR PAIRING” button at the bottom of selected camera to pair.

3. Once paired successfully, a red icon will appear after the device list.

4. An X icon indicates pairing failed, repeat steps 2 and 3 to pair again.

If you wanted to use your cameras as a security camera, you would have to wire them to your battery with a switch # PK34360 so that the switch would give it power when it's hooked/unhooked to the tow vehicle. Additionally, you will also need to add a 12v outlet kit # RM-9332 so you can plug in, and use the monitor.
