Question:
Greetings, my old Viking tent trailer needs some additional stabilization when parked. It doesnt have enough clearance9 for the regular stabilizing jacks. I was wondering if it would work to use one of the Stabil-step products, either JSS-85 or JSS-7. Thanks for your input.

Since all of the stabilizer jacks have a minimum clearance, you will need to measure the distance from the mounting point on your trailer to the ground. The JSS-7 stabilizing jack you referenced is designed to be used to stabilize steps.
If you have at least 11-1/2 inches clearance, then I would recommend the Domar Trailer Jack, part # TJ01RT. This jack has a load capacity of 650 lbs. I have linked you to an installation video for this jack.
If you have less clearance under your trailer, then I would recommend the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, part # UF48-979002. These scissor jacks bolt to the frame and have a collapsed height of 4-3/4 inches. They have a load capacity of 6500 lbs and there are two in the set. These jacks also have a lift of 24 inches. These jacks are not designed to support the full weight of your trailer, and are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailers weight. I have linked you to a product review video for these.
