How To Extend Weight Distribution Hitch To Clear Tailgate on Truck

Question:

I have a 2018 Ford F150 and now find that the tail gate need about two more inches to open as the Husky electric trailer toung jack hit tail gate. My bar is a 12 inch from tube out from truck. Do you have bar that is 14 inches that fit a Husky bar.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4500 measures 14" from the center of the hitch pin to the center of the adjustment holes and is typically what we recommend for more tailgate clearance with a weight distribution system. It's the longest option we offer at this time.
