The best hitch for your 2022 Toyota RAV-4 is going to be the etrailer Hitch Receiver item # e23ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Toyota with included hardware. This hitch has 1/2" more ground clearance compared to the other options. I have attached a picture of what this hitch looks like installed. The only visible portion is the 2" x 2" receiver. To connect your wiring you will need the item # 18144 mounting bracket.

For your wiring harness you will want the Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C56434. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
