Pull Pin Is Frozen On A Fulton F2 Trailer Jack
Updated 03/30/2022 | Published 03/28/2022 >
Question:
I just installed the F2 Jack and both the pull pin are frozen. I cant even move rotate the handle. Obviously I did something incorrect but before I unbolt again and reinstall, checking if maybe I over torqued a bolt or something that would cause this. I did loosen the height adjustments bolts and retighten them, could that be the problem?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with Fulton, and they believe the issue with your Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack is that there is dirt, grime or corrosion in the pull pin mechanism, and that is affecting its operation.
I recommend using some penetrating lubricant, or some WD-40 to spray the area to free it.
